If your roof suffers from moss, it may benefit from being swept clear and treated with a roof moss killing agent. Doing this method as opposed to sand blasting the roof will help to keep some integrity of the roof tiles, as severe blasting can damage more tiles than necessary.
Moss if failed to be removed can work its way into the tiles and in the winter time, freeze, expand and then crack the roof tiles.
